How to measure? |
I had really high expectations when I ordered this dress, and after trying it on, I'm absolutely speechless. The dress is gorgeous!
The fabric is thick and quite stiff, so it doesn't "cling" to the stomach and falls beautifully down to the ankles. The bodice is also well-structured and even includes boning without constricting the chest.
The embroidery is beautifully done, and overall, the dress is very well made. Another plus point is that the bow on the chest is a pin, so you can place it however you like or remove it entirely.
The only downside: the zipper. To even close it, I had to cut off several loose threads. At first, I thought the fabric was fraying, but no, it was the excess threads from the zipper seam. After that, the zipper can be closed, but due to its placement, this is a bit of a challenge without help, and I say that as someone who has experience with bulky zippers.
The bottom line is: the dress has a few minor flaws (stubborn zipper, no pockets!), but these are easily overlooked thanks to the great cut and design. I'm absolutely thrilled.
